CITY CLUB CARRIES OUT MEGA EYE CAMP AT BUYUNI, DAR ES SALLAM

Lions Club of Dar-es-Salaam City conducted a Mega Eye Camp on 16th December 2012 at Buyuni Primary School, 30 kms away from City of Dar-es-Salaam. The President Lion Protas Mmanda led the entourage of good number of members to this magnificient camp. 

375 villagers turned out for the screening. 170 were dispensed with reading and distance glasses, while 86 were given medicines and 40 were noted to have Cataract and would be transported to the CCBRT Eye Hospital for surgery in a due course of time. The total expense of the Eye camp was TShs. 5.5 million.
