On 19th January 2013, District Governor Joseph Kiwanuka on behalf of Lions
Club of Moshi Kibo officially opened a classroom for the Disabled at Rombo. The Centre was jointly constructed by Kibo Club and the Lions of Sweden at the cost
of USD 20,000.00.
DG also on behalf of the club donated two computers and special pipes
for exercise worth USD 1200/= at the Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled
people that was constructed two years back at the cost of USD
40,000.00.
As reported by Club Secretary Lion Nitu, the project was witnessed by National chairman for the disabled
people, District First Lady Lion Edith, ZC Lion Juzer Sachak, Club Members and other government officials.
