It was a joyful
day for the residents of Arusha when Lions Club of Arusha held a Kite Flying
Festival on 10th February 2013 at Sikh Union Club to raise Fund.
The
festival started at 10 am and ended at 6 pm. More than 375 men, women and
children attended the festival. There were stalls of Kites & Sting, Gun
Shooting, Food & Drinks, Face Painting, Jumping Castle, Artificial
Jewellery & putting Henna on the Hands.
15 lion members participated in
this event during which several prizes were given to the winners. TShs. 1,350,000/- were raised at the Fete.
